Obituary for Mildred (Muslin) Marsilio

Mildred (Muslin) Marsilio, 90, of Neville Island, passed away Monday December 18, 2017 in Good Samaritan Hospice, Wexford.
Born March 2, 1927 in Aliquippa, the only daughter of the late Mile and Anne (Suder) Muslin, she was a member of St. Elijah Serbian Orthodox Church in Aliquippa.
Mildred and her husband Joe owned and operated La Gondola Lounge in Coraopolis for over 40 years, and she was formerly employed by J&L Steel in Aliquippa in their cafeteria.
Millie was a wonderful seamstress. She hand made the St. Elijah Tamburitzan dance outfits, and prom and wedding gowns as well.
Her passions were shopping, fashion, and decorating.
Surviving are her beloved husband of 50 years, Joseph Marsilio; a brother, Walter Muslin; a daughter, Kathy Russell; a granddaughter, Stacy Uecker and her husband Brian; two great grandchildren, Tessa and Kaliegh Coleman, and many loving and caring nieces, nephews, and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Mark, George, and Rudy Muslin.
Friends will be received Thursday from 4 to 8pm in Tatalovich Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 2205 McMinn St., Aliquippa., Pa. 15001.
Family and friends will gather Friday at St. Elijah Serbian Orthodox Church-2200 Irwin St., Aliquippa, where a service will be held at 10am, with Fr. Branislav Golic, officiating.
Interment will follow in St. Elijah Church Cemetery-Hopewell Twp.
Pomen (blessing service) will be held Thursday at 5pm in the funeral home.
