Obituary for Daniel Docinovich

Daniel Docinovich, 94, of Hopewell Twp., passed away Monday, May 28, 2018 in Good Samaritan Hospice at Heritage Valley, Beaver.
Born September 9, 1923 in Logstown, he was a son of the late Milovan and Milka (Velmerovich) Dojcinovich.
Mr. Docinovich retired from LTV Steel in Aliquippa as a crane repairman, with 36 years of service.
He was a U.S. Army veteran having served in WWII as a staff sergeant, and was a member of St. Elijah Serbian Orthodox Church , and the American Serbian Club, both in Aliquippa.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Marie (Morris) Docinovich on October 6, 1994; an infant son, Daniel, two sisters, Helen Vitez, and Dorothy Riley, and a brother, Larry Docinovich.
Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Richard Hecht; three grandchildren, Natalie Hecth-Baldauff, and her husband, Ken Baldauff, Dean Hecht, and Dan Hecht; three great grandchildren, Lillian, Levi and Ben, and a special nephew, Butch Vitez.
Family and friends will meet Friday at St. Elijah Serbian Orthodox Church-2200 Irwin St., Aliquippa, Pa. 15001, where a service will be held at 11am, with Fr. Branislav Golic, officiating.
Interment will follow in St. Elijah Church Cemetery, Hopewell Twp.
The family would like to thank the staff of Franciscan Manor and Good Samaritan Hospice for all their kindness and loving care.
