Obituary for Brooklyn Rose Lesher

Brooklynn Rose Lesher, 20, of Center Twp., Beaver County, was granted her angel wings on Wednesday January 31, 2018.

She was diagnosed with Cornelia DeLange Syndrome when she was an infant, that would supply her with a life obstacle course she was determined to conquer. Her life would seem too short to many, but for those who were touched by her would understand that the quality of existence far exceeds quantity of time in which you live. Her laugh was infectious and although she never spoke a word, her wishes were spoken loud and clear. Although she sometimes seemed frail, she possessed a fierce strength, perseverance and the ability to overcome incredible physical challenges.

She will be sadly missed by her beloved parents, Kenneth G. and Kimberly R. (Rousseau) Lesher; her sister and best friend, Lauren Nicole Lesher; maternal grandmother, Joyce; paternal grandmother, Sandra; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She also leaves behind many caregivers, nurses and teachers that provided so much love and support that enhanced her quality of life.

With her passing, we remind others that life is one to be celebrated. Although we will miss her every day, she will be in our hearts forever.
It's been a privilege to be her parents. We are so thankful her sister had the chance to make many years of memories together that will last us all a lifetime.
Family and friends are welcome to attend Brooklynn’s memorial service at Northway Christian Community Church, 300 Brighton Ave, Rochester, Pa., 15074, Saturday February 10, 2018 at 10:30am, with Rev. Chris White, officiating.
